What Is Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination is a gentle semi-permanent perm, and it is completely safe. There is no down time. Brow lamination is a service for those who want to groom their brow hair upward into a perfect shape, it helps straighten them and gives a fuller look.
What is Brow Lamination Process Like?
It is a three-step procedure which takes about 45 minutes from start to finish.
First, we'll start with cleansing of the brows, follow with a lifting solution applied which relaxes the hair. A small piece of plastic saran wrap is then placed over the solution for about 10 minutes or more, depending on the thickness and how coarse the brow hairs are.
Next, a fixing solution is applied, brows are brushed upwards in a similar fashion with a brow gel. The saran wrap goes on again for another 10 minutes letting the fixing solution stopping them perming processing.
How long does brow lamination last?
For the best results, you are advised not to get your brows wet for 24 hours after the treatment. This is why we always recommend out clients to shower before they come to their appointment.
To maintain a health brow hair look, we recommend applying a Castor Oil at home to hydrate the brows and brushing them upwards. Following your aftercare procedure will help maintained brow lamination to last anywhere from four to six weeks.
