Booking Policy

Thank you for taking the time to read our policy.

  Hello! Thank you for considering Nu Beauty Image for your booking.


Our policies are designed to be clear, fair, and consistent for all clients. As a small business, we value commitment, respect, and professionalism. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms. Please refrain from booking if you do not agree with our policies.


Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual who is not a suitable candidate due to health concerns or conditions outside of our professional scope.


Out-of-Town & Traveling Clients

This policy applies to all clients traveling from out of town, out of state, or visiting Minnesota.

If your trip, event, or plans are canceled, your deposit remains non-refundable. We understand unforeseen situations occur; however, this policy ensures fairness to all clients.

We recommend booking only when you are certain you will be in town.


No Children Policy

We love children; however, for safety reasons, children are not permitted unless they are receiving a service.

Our workspace contains professional tools, sharp instruments, chemicals, and cleaning products. It would be negligent to allow unsupervised children in this environment.

If you arrive with a child who is not scheduled for a service, your appointment will be canceled, and you will be charged the full-service fee.


Deposit Policy

A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 is required to book a service. Any remaining balance is due on the day of your appointment.

The only time a refund will be issued is:

  • if Nu Beauty Image cancels your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, or 
  • if you prepaid the full balance and later cancel within policy terms, only the remaining non-required balance will be refund. 

Please note that any refund processed may be subject to a credit card processing fee charged by the payment processor, which is not controlled by Nu Beauty Image.


Gift Certificate Policy

When booking with a gift certificate, the same booking terms apply.

  • A non-refundable deposit is still required. 
  • If your gift certificate is less than $100, the value of the gift certificate plus any additional deposit paid must total $100. 
  • If your gift certificate is more than $100, and you violate the policy terms, the required $100 deposit amount will be deducted from the gift certificate value. 

If you or the person receiving the gift certificate already booked an appointment and paid a deposit or prepaid in full, then later receive a gift certificate, you may not request a refund in place of using the gift certificate, as this would be considered redeeming it for cash value.

If there is a remaining balance after applying your gift certificate, you may use it toward future services.

If you already prepaid for a service, your gift certificate must be used at a later date.


Deposit Examples

  • Service total: $150 - Required non-refundable deposit: $100
        Remaining balance due at appointment: $50 
  • Gift certificate under $100 - Your gift certificate value plus additional deposit paid must total $100 to secure booking. 
  • Service  total under $100 - Example: If your service is $85, then $85 full prepayment is required at booking and is non-refundable. 

Making a deposit in office or through our payment link serves as your electronic signature of agreement to these policies. Nu Beauty Image is a small business. We have zero tolerance for booking without commitment to showing up.



Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We require a 72-hour (3-day) notice to cancel or reschedule.

  • Deposits are not refundable – If cancel withing our 72-hour policy notice 3 days before your appointment your deposit(s) will be applied as a credit in your account. Deposit(s) is good to 1 year and will be forfeited after the 1-year expiration date. Date of reschedule or cancellation. 
  • If cancellation or rescheduling is not followed in our 72 hours’ notice policy: 
    • Deposit is forfeited 
    • No exceptions 

Accepted forms of notice:

  • Call 
  • Text 
  • Voicemail      
  • Email 
  • Facebook      message 

Notice must be received 72 hours prior to your appointment.


Cancellation and Rescheduling Clarification

If you notify us within the required time frame to cancel or reschedule, your deposit is still non-refundable, but it may be applied as an account credit with Nu Beauty Image.

If you change your mind 10 minutes after you have made the deposit(s) - securing a booking on our schedule, the deposit is not refundable. Once you are booked, that time slot is reserved for you and unavailable to other clients.

Any deposit made but not scheduled within 1 year from the date of purchase will be considered forfeited.


Group / Party Booking Policy

If you book for multiple people and one-party cancels at the last minute: our policy applies to group parties. 

  • You are responsible for that cancellation 
  • Deposit cannot be transferred 
  • Deposit is forfeited if it does not meet our 72 hour-policy


Appointment Slot Occupation Policy

If you are already booked and are on our waiting list, then receive an alert for earlier availability, you must contact us to move your original appointment.

If you choose to keep your original appointment and also book the earlier opening, you are occupying two appointment slots. You will be held responsible for both reserved slots under our deposit policy, and deposits will not be refunded.

To avoid disputes, please contact us to change your appointment rather than making a second booking.


Downgrading Appointment Time

Requests to change from a higher-duration service to a lower-duration service will not be permitted unless at least 72 hours’ notice is given.

You have occupied a time slot that could have been reserved by another client. Last-minute reductions in service time limit our ability to fill that opening.

If you booked through a gift certificate for a specific service duration, changing to a lower-duration service is not permitted.


Rescheduling Limit

For single sessions or package sessions, you may reschedule the same appointment up to 3 times, provided each change falls within the rescheduling policy.

If you need to reschedule the same appointment after the 3rd time, it will be considered forfeited. If it is part of a package, that session will be counted as used, and you must move on to booking the next session.

This policy ensures we can prioritize clients who are serious about treatment.


Late Arrival Policy

You are a grown adult, you are responsible for arriving on time.

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. Late arrival shortens your service time and may affect the quality of your experience.

  • 15      minutes late is our cutoff 
  • If you arrive late, you will only receive the remaining time left in your appointment 
  • You are still responsible for paying the full-service fee 

Example:
If your appointment starts at 10:00 AM and you arrive at 10:15 AM for a 60-minute service, you will only receive 45 minutes of service and still be charged the full amount. Your appointment starts at 10:00 am the time you reserved. 

Please respect your provider’s time and the appointments scheduled after yours.


Package Session Policies Applies to: Facials, Microneedling, Brow Lamination, Eyelash Lift, Head Spa- Scalp-Treatments - If you place a deposit for a package deal but do not pay the package in full at your first appointment, the package discount will not apply. Your visit will instead be treated as a single session purchase.


Unused Session Policy

To maintain results, package sessions should be used consistently.

  • Unused package sessions expire 1 year from the package purchase date 
  • Unused sessions are non-refundable 
  • Unused sessions are non-transferable 
  • Sessions may be swapped for another service of equal or greater value, with the client responsible for paying any difference 

If a medical condition prevents you from continuing treatment, you must provide a doctor’s note within 6 months. If there is no notice and the package reaches 1 year from purchase, the unused sessions will be forfeited.


Outside Treatment / Double Treatment Policy

If you are receiving a treatment plan with Nu Beauty Image and choose to receive the same or similar services elsewhere, your remaining sessions with us will be forfeited.

For your safety, we do not support double treatments.

Receiving the same invasive or corrective services from multiple providers during an active treatment plan may increase the risk of:

  • injury      
  • scarring      
  • allergic reaction 
  • infection      
  • long-term skin or scalp damage 

Your safety always comes first.


Semi-Permanent Makeup Policies - Second Session Policy

If your semi-permanent makeup service includes a second session, you must schedule it within 3 months if it is not booked at your first appointment.

  • Second sessions may be done no earlier than 30 days 
  • If you do not schedule within 3 months, the second session will be considered forfeited 
  • A new non-refundable deposit of $100 will be required to rebook 

Consistent timing is important for proper healing and complete results.


Changing Services at Second Session

If you purchased a semi-permanent makeup service with an included second session but arrive at your second session wanting to change to a different service, a new full service fee will apply, and the unused second session will be forfeited.


Example: If your first session was microblading and you later decide you want ombre shading for the second visit, you will be charged full price for ombre shading.


Third Touch-Up Policy

A third touch-up is only available to:

  • clients who completed both their first and second session with us, or 
  • returning clients who completed a yearly or two-year touch-up within the past 3      months 

If your prior work was done by another artist, you will be charged $375.00 for a single corrective session.

You may not book a minor touch-up until you have completed the required initial follow-up session.

After that:

  • the 3rd session minor touch-up is $50 
  • then you may move on to yearly or two-year touch-up pricing based on your      maintenance schedule 

Any return after 4 years is considered a new full service.
