Please refrain from booking an appointment if you disagree with my policy. As mature adults, I seek to be surrounded by individuals who possess a positive mindset and energy.
Nu Beauty Image Policies: We reserve the right to refuse service to individuals who are not suitable candidates due to health issues or conditions that fall outside our scope of practice.
Clients visiting from out of town, out of state, or on vacation or business trips to Minnesota, please note: this policy applies to you as well. If you book with us and your event is cancelled, your deposit will not be refunded. I understand that unforeseen circumstances occur; however, it would be unfair to my local clients if I did not adhere to my policy. I recommend making your booking when you are certain you will be in town.
-No Children policy-
We cherish children; however, our facility contains accessible tools, sharp objects, chemicals, and cleaning agents. It would be negligent of us not to establish proper protocols to prevent unsupervised situations for a child while a parent is receiving services. We appreciate your understanding in prioritizing your child's care before attending your appointment.
***Please refrain from bringing your child unless they have an appointment.*** Failure to comply will result in the automatic cancellation of your appointment and you will be charged the full service fee. This policy ensures that we can dedicate our full attention to your service during your reserved time.
- According to our policy, a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 is required to book a service, with any remaining balance payable on the day of the appointment. Refunds are issued only if we must cancel your appointment at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances on our side, or if you have pre-paid in full and choose to cancel, then the amount exceeding the deposit will be refunded. Please be aware that the credit card company we utilize may charge a processing fee for any refund, which is not affiliated with Nu Beauty Image.
- For cancellation clarity: If you notify us within the designated policy time to cancel or reschedule, the deposit is non-refundable but will be credited to your account with us. If you change your mind after making a deposit and securing a booking on our schedule, the deposit remains non-refundable. By placing a deposit, you reserve a time slot, preventing others from scheduling. This limits our ability to serve other clients. Deposits not scheduled and exceeding one year from the date of purchase will be forfeited.
- When booking with a gift certificate, the same terms apply, including the requirement for a non-refundable deposit. If your gift certificate is less than $100.00, the deposit, combined with your gift certificate, must total $100.00. If your gift certificate exceeds the deposit requirement and the terms of this policy are violated, $100 will be deducted from your gift certificate to cover the required deposit.
- If you or the recipient of a gift certificate book an appointment online or in-person and make a deposit or prepay the full amount, and then receive a gift certificate, you cannot request a refund in lieu of using the gift certificate, i.e., redeeming it for its cash value. However, if there is a remaining balance, you may apply your gift certificate towards it. When holding a gift certificate, you must book using it; if you have already prepaid, you may use the gift certificate for future services.
- Deposit Example: For a service costing $150.00, a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 is required, with the remaining balance payable at the time of service. If your gift certificate is less than $100.00, the deposit, including the value of the gift certificate, must total $100.00 to secure your booking. The remainder is due in person at the time of the appointment. For services priced under $100.00, for instance, at $85.00, a non-refundable deposit or prepayment of $85.00 is required at the time of booking.
- Making a non-refundable deposit in-office or through our link serves as your agreement with our policy. Nu Beauty Image, being a small business, enforces a strict policy against no-shows and requires a commitment to attend scheduled appointments.
- Appointment Slot Occupation: If you are already booked and also on our waiting list, then receive a text alert about an earlier availability, you should call to reschedule your booked appointment to the earlier date. If you choose to keep the original date and make a new appointment for the earlier date, this means you are occupying two booking slots. According to our policy, you are responsible for any slots you occupy. To avoid any disputes, please request to change your appointment to the newly available date rather than holding two slots.
- To reschedule we required 72 Hours’ notice (3 days) before your appointment otherwise deposit is forfeited. Last minute cancellation, No Show, or rescheduling in the (3 days) 72 hours prevents our business from servicing others who need our services first. We understand that unplanned situations happen, but we want you to remember our policies and be aware that there are zero exceptions. Our Goal is to satisfy clients who need our services first. Should you need to reschedule or make changes to your appointment, phone calls, voicemails, text, Facebook message, and emails, notice must be given 72 hours (3 days) before your appointment must be received. (Our 72 hours means the count at midnight, to the time you are going to be service.)
- Requests to reduce the duration of an appointment will not be accepted unless a full 72-hour notice is provided prior to your appointment time. The time slot you have reserved prevents us from accommodating other clients, and last-minute changes to a shorter duration hinder our ability to schedule potential clients. Additionally, if your appointment is booked through a gift certificate for a set duration, it is not possible to change to a service of a shorter duration.
- Whether you book a single session or a package, you may reschedule your appointment up to six times, provided you comply with the rescheduling terms. If you need to reschedule the same appointment more than six times, it will be considered a forfeit. For package deals, this means you will need to proceed to book the subsequent session. Our policy is designed to prioritize those committed to our treatments.
- As an adult, it is your responsibility to arrive on time. Your appointment slot is specifically reserved for you; arriving late reduces your service time and may result in a rushed job, leaving you dissatisfied. Please be aware that being more than 15 minutes late will result in a loss of that time. For instance, if your service is scheduled for 60 minutes and you are late, you will only receive 45 minutes of service but will be charged for the full hour. Respect your provider's time and the appointments of clients following yours. If your appointment is at 10:00 am or another reserved time, we will begin your service at that time. If you arrive at 10:00 and need to fill out an intake form, which takes 5 to 10 minutes, please understand this will cut into your service time, as we have subsequent clients scheduled.
Package Sessions: SPMU:
- If your Semi- Permanent Cosmetics comes with a 2nd session, you will have 3 months to schedule in if you did not schedule at your first appointment. Once it exceeds three months, your second session will become a loss and a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required, to book for your second session. Second sessions can be done at its earliest within 30 days, or scheduled within the 1 month’s period, no earlier. Sessions that are not consistent cause the procedure area to look incomplete.
- If you bought a Semi-Permanent makeup service that comes with a second session but when arriving to your second session you want to change the service, a new service fee is required at a full price, and the unused session is loss. (Example, you had microblading for session 1, then want to change it to ombre shading at your second session, you will be charged for ombre shading at a full price.)
- 3rdTouch up This touch up is for clients who had their first and second session with us or is a returning client who just had their yearly, two years touch up within the recent 3 months. If your session was a touch up, but work was done by another artist, you will be charged $375.00 for a single session. You cannot a touch up session until you have had the initial second session of $375.00. Once you have had the second initial touchup, then you may book our 3rdsession which is known for a minor touch up at $50.00. and moved on to the yearly touch up, to our two-year touchup based on your return. Anything after 3 years is considered a new set of services for permanent makeup.
Package Sessions:
FACIALS, FACIALS, CHEMICAL PEELS, MICRONEEDLING, BROW LAMINATION, EYELASHE LIFT, EXTENSIONS, & HEAD SPA& SCALP CLEANSING PACKAGES:
- Should you make a deposit for a package deal, the package discount will only be valid if you pay in full at your first appointment. Otherwise, it will be treated as a single session purchase.
- Unused Sessions: If you do not book your monthly package sessions consistently, any sessions not used will expire one year from the purchase date of the package deal. Unused sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable if you are unable to continue or miss your appointment. They will remain in your account until the expiration date. You may exchange an unused session for a procedure of equal or greater value, paying any difference in fees. In the event of a medical condition affecting your treatment, you must provide a doctor's note within six months; failure to do so will result in the loss of the session if a year passes without notification.
Invasive treatments: During your planned services with Nu Beauty Image, should you receive the same services elsewhere, your remaining sessions will be forfeited. At Nu Beauty Image, we care for our client’s safety, we do not support double treatments. Having treatments from other professionals during your sessions with us will cause high risks of injuries, scarring, allergic reactions, and infection with long term injuries.
